markdjones82
Good Morning All, First, I would like to say I am relatively new to an admin role and this environment I am working at. Anyway, we have a new HP server with a raid card that seems to be blue screening on install of Server 2000 (the client wants 2000 for certain reasons)Anyway, we are trying to load the driver for it during install, but when we try to hit F6 it just doesn't work. I am wondering if this is being caused by a switch in the unattended.txtAny advice would be appreciated. Thanks.-Mark
Kelsenellenelvian
I dunno if windows 2000 even supported f6.I would simply integrate them with the raid slipstreamer found in the drivers section of this forum.http://www.msfn.org/board/RAID_Slipstreamer_t85842.html
gosh
win2k supports f6. When you boot from the cd at the bottom of the screen does it say to press f6? You only have a couple of seconds at the start of setup to do this. Make sure you have a floppy with winnt.oem i believe is the file it looks for.-gosh
jaclaz
Also, maybe a "stupid" suggestion, but if you use one of those (wireless) "internet enabled" keyboards, during boot the "F lock" key may be off, and thus the F1 to F12 keys don't work.http://jtsang.mvps.org/flock.htmljaclaz
