Hello

I use the the newest test version HFSLIP.

The installation and integration proceed correctly, WU is satisfied

BUT

1) Hfnetchk shows:

Scan performed Wed Sep 12 01:21:48 2007
Shavlik Technologies Network Security Hotfix Checker, 3.86
Using XML data version = 2007.9.11.0 Last modified on 2007/09/11.

* WINDOWS XP SP2

Patch NOT Installed MS07-045 937143
File C:\WINDOWS\system32\browseui.dll has a file version
[6.0.2900.2995] that is less than what is expected [6.0.2900.3157].

2) I must install MICROSOFT WINDOWS COMPONENT PUBLISHER manually

As far as your first problem is concerned... it was already covered a few times here.

The "browseui.dll" file wasn't updated in the IE7 hotfixes, but it was in the IE6 hotfixes. The problem is that the XML file from Microsoft that HFNETCHK is using does not yet contain support for detecting IE7, so HFNETCHK thinks that you are using IE6. You can extract browseui.dll from the IE6 cumulative, compress it to browseui.dl_ and place it in the FIX folder, but you'll have to repeat that whenever a new IE6 cumulative is released.

The Microsoft Windows Component Publisher is a new update. The download location wasn't recorded in WindowsUpdate.log so I can't say more on it for now.
