odyssey5 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 (edited) HelloI got a problem with my Webcam, appearently after removing too much with nLite. When I try to install the driver package, it fails with the error "The required section was not found in the INF". I tested an nlited XP without removing components, and this solved the problem so the problem must be a required component. I've reviewed my settings, and really have no idea what causes this - It might be Netmeeting, but somehow I find that odd...Edit: Tried not to remove Network, Operating System Options and Services, and still no dice LAST_SESSION.INI Edited September 12, 2007 by odyssey5
mara- Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 In my opinion you are removing too much things in Hardware Support. Try to leave in Hardware support following:1. Video Capture (Description from nLite: Support for TV Cards, Camera devices, and any Video capture devices)2. Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) (Needed for Cameras, Camcorders and Scanners)Hope this will help you.Cheers
odyssey5 Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 Thanks Sometimes it helps reading the description. However, I didn't realize that WIA was part of the Video Capture driver.
