Woomera Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 im new to the wireless networkings and i have a funny problem.my wireless adapter cant connect to my accesspoint.(AccessPoint: D-Link DWL-2100AP,Adapter: D-Link DWL-G122)it freezes in the "waite while windows connects to the "xxx" network" process for minutes and it wont connect.the funny thing is that its not always like this,sometimes it works fine but not always.i have set my AP to "Super-G with dynamic turbo"(108Mbps).i even tried AUTO CHANNEL scanning but no luck.how can i indicate whats my problem?
tain Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Are you using the software that came with the adapter? Or the Windows client?Disable any encryption while you are working on connectivity. Re-enable it after you know your connection is good.
