I want to use XPize, however, after installing it i need to wait for almost half an hour to log into windows

although shell32.dll weights just 8MB..

As i'm a chinese, i must install the asian languages in order to read chinese.

so i want to ask, it is possible to solve this problem in the next version?

as i got this problem even i install the older version of XPize.

thank you

Hi, that is a problem of Windows, not XPize, so I cannot solve it.

there is a fix availeble, but that is not doable in xpize or the pack...

Chek the brico packs site and search for that problem.

They have fixed it by changing the imagebase of the file.

rather advanced stuff, but it works.

thank you!

but what should i search in bricopacks' foprum?

i tried "memory allocation" and "asian languages", nothing related has shown!

or is it about the update of KB925902?

but i didn't install this update as the problem exists too...

would you mind telling me how to fix it please?!

thanks

I have a Japanese XP and my shell32 weights almost 10 MB. It works perfectly with XPize Lite. Install the Lite version, not the standard one.
