No more AutopatcherXP?

Microsoft managed to stop the Autopatcher project....so it's back to the old annoying windows update thing...

Yes....it is a shame. It was a great project.

MS apparently didn't really go into detail explaining their decision to do this. The project was active for many years that MS had to have known of it's existence.

For now the last builds they may not have objected to are still available on the torrent page. http://autopatcher.m2ys4u.co.uk

**If a mod decides to blank out the above link... I'll understand

autopatcher is autogoner

-gosh

Microsoft are cheapskates, they are willing to do anything to eliminate the competition. Not everybody has time and a fast connection just to connect to the bloody Windows Update website, which I think its slow and buggy.

I personally haven't used AutoPatcher, but I can imagine how much of a PITA must be for users with a dial-up connection to keep up to date their OS.... Shame, Microsoft, shame on you!!!
