What did I remove that made windows update not work?

Nearly all updates fail.

do you get any error messages when you check for updates?

No. I had originally searched google for the error code I was getting but found nothing because I had made a typo of 800F0826. Now that I've caught that it said it means another update has failed which caused a chain reaction of other updates to fail, I seem to have found the update that was doing it and I'm gonna see if I can fix it myself. If not I'll update my post and seek assistance.
