replacing ms notepad with notepad2.....

i just wanted to totally replace the default notepad with notepad2.

what i did is this:

1 renamed notepad2.exe to notepad.exe

2 in command line i typed :modifype.exe notepad.exe -c

3 then makecab notepad.exe

4 replaced the notepad.ex_ in I386 folder with the new notepad.ex_

will this work? or i need to do something else

please help? i wanted to confirm before testing it............


Thats how I do it and it works fine.

Still, running sigverif in the future will fail of course but who cares. :whistle:
