Hi all,

Whenever I try and download a file, big or smallitkeeps going so far but then stalls and doesn't go further. This is also true when viewing videos on youtube, it goes so far then doesn't go any further but I can tell it's still downliading the video because if I move the pin timer across it views the latter part of the video and carrys on playing it.

I know it's not my internet connection because it works fine on my other computer so it has to be something to do with the computer?

I think it all started when I installed either Avast Professional Antivirus and Zone Alarm firewall, so it could be caused by one of these? I can't distinguise which one ebcause I installed themboth at the same time.

Anyone know what my problem is? Thanks.

Disable browser extensions in inetcpl.cpl, do a clean boot with msconfig, since you have a router you can try safe mode w/ networking.
