[Qusestion]Trellis enabled or disabled in Router?

There was a lot of disconnection in ADSL with my isp, and when i disabled Trellis value in ADSL config in the router, disconnection gone !!

is there any decrease in speed if Trellis is disabled ??

* what i know Trellis is a sort of error correction

Trellis is a digital modulation scheme. It is low-level signaling stuff that most of us mere mortals don't encounter often. There are many comparable modulation schemes and your modem likely is using another instead of Trellis (if it was using it before). You shouldn't see a noticeable difference in speed.

But you may want to contact your ISP anyway. You (and they) should be concerned about excessive noise on your line, a bad filter somewhere, or a misconfiguration during a recent truck roll. Those are more likely the root cause of your problem.
