troubles with slipstreaming sata drivers

Ok this is what i did:

1. I integrated the ICH8R AHCI drivers with NLite, i chose multipe driver folder intead of single driver

2. Made a bootable CD and burned the modified DIR with the SATA drivers onto it to the disc.

3. I turned the AHCI mode on in bios before running the setup

4. Setup starts, loads drivers, i press enter.

Then it says the setup cannot find any Harddisks..

What did i do wrong? I already wasted 5 CD's trying to get it to work, but it never does. :(

I got a P5B Mobo and a Samsung SP2504C HDD.

try integrating the 2 folders in the zip file, if you get a message asking for textmode or pnp, select textmode please.

if you goto here, select XP, and download the second raid driver, when you finished installing it, there should be a folder in "C:\Program Files\Intel" which you need to integrate

the folder might be there without downloading the file :)

It looks like my controller (Intel® 82801HB/HR (ICH8R)) isnt supported by that driver as its not listed in the supported list. Really weird stuff. =\

[strings]

DiskName = "Intel Matrix storage Manager Driver"

*PNP0600.DeviceDesc = "Intel AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2652&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel® 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2653&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel® 82801FBM SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27C1&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel® 82801GR/GH SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27C5&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel® 82801GBM SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2681&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel® 631xESB/632xESB SATA AHCI Controller"

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2821&CC_0106.DeviceDesc = "Intel® ICH8R/DO/DH SATA AHCI Controller"

I dont think its going to work because i have the HB/HR version of ICH8R which is probably not supported by this driver. Ill try it tho.
