Oleg_II Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 Chinese language support needs Input Method Editor component (in fact, files from this component are not needed but some regestry settings).If you are installing Chinese as a third language (say English + you native language + Chinese input) Text Services Framework component is also needed for Language Bar and for not messing up with some other languages. And even if you didn't check Chinese for removal you probable deleted something that is installing needed NLS files. In current nLite languages are a bit tricky. And I also as you need Chinese (but Simplified) and I made it I mean: if you need leave Chinese support you shouldn't choose Input Method Editor under Operating System Options section for removal.
