August 5, 200719 yr Hello. While installing Windows 2000 in the blue text mode setup, i get an error while copying files. It says, the file msdv.inf could not be found.I can skip it with the Escape key, but i want to know whats wrong there.Later, when Windows is installed and I go to the nvidia Website to download drivers, i get a Message, if I want to trust Adobe Systems to download and install Adobe Flash Player When i click yes, after a pause of 1-2 seconds an error message pops up saying IEXPLORER.EXE has caused Problems and had to be closed.I did not put swflash.cab into the HFCAB Folder. When i restart IE and go on any site which contains of Flash Material, IE closes.I removed Adobe Flash Player in the Software menu and in the Internet Settings, but with no success.Whats wrong with Flash Player and Windows 2000???Here my HFSLIP.LOGHFSLIP Version - 1.6.2 build 70730HFSLIP Path - D:\Images\Programme\Windows 2000\HFSLIP\OS in SOURCESS - 2000 SP4 GermanMSIE Version - 2KIE6DirectX SlipstreamedDrivers - DRIVER.CAB UpdatedCD Install Path - DefaultCDTAG - CDROM_NT.5===============================================================================Files in your FIX folder:NTDETECT.COMNTLDRFiles in your HF folder:IE6.0sp1-KB905495-Windows2000-x86-DEU.exeIE6.0sp1-KB929969-Windows2000-x86-DEU.exeIE6.0sp1-KB933566-Windows2000-x86-DEU.exeMDAC_TYP.EXEMDAC281-KB927779-x86-DEU.exempsetup.exeOE6.0sp1-KB923694-Windows2000-x86-DEU.exerootsupd_fe44934fd80dd11fec2f0f9b24431658a4f6d589.exeWindows2000-KB842773-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB891861-v2-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB893756-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB896358-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB896423-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB899587-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB899589-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB900725-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB901017-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB901214-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB904706-DX9-x86-DEU.exeWindows2000-KB905414-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB905749-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB908506-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB908519-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB908531-v2-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB911280-v2-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB913580-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB914388-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB914389-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB917008-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB917537-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB917736-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB917953-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB918118-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB920213-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB920670-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB920683-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB920685-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB921398-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB922582-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB923191-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB923414-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB923689-x86-DEU.exeWindows2000-KB923980-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB924191-v2-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB924270-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB924667-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB925902-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB926121-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB926122-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB926247-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB926436-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB927891-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB928843-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB930178-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB931784-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB932168-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB935839-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB935840-x86-DEU.EXEWindows2000-KB935843-x86-DEU.EXEWindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exeWindowsMedia6-KB925398-v2-x86-DEU.exeWindowsMedia9-KB917734-x86-DEU.exeWindowsMedia-KB911564-x86-DEU.exeWindowsRightsManagementServicesSP2-KB917275-Client-GER-x86.exeWindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exeWindowsXP-Windows2000-Script56-KB917344-x86-deu.exewmfdist.exeFiles in your HFCABS folder:_IE6_HFSLIP.CAB_IE6b_HFSLIP.CAB_OE6_HFSLIP.CABBDANT.cabBRANDING.CABdxnt.cabIEW2K_1.CABIEW2K_2.CABIEW2K_3.CABIEW2K_4.CABMAILNEWS.CABOEEXCEP.CABSCRIPTDE.CABWAB.CABFiles in your HFSVCPACK folder:Files in your HFSVCPACK_SW1 folder:Files in your HFSVCPACK_SW2 folder:Files in your HFGUIRUNONCE folder:Files in your HFTOOLS folder:bbie.exeBOOT.BINcmdow.execygwin1.dllmkisofs.exeFiles in your HFCLEANUP folder:===============================================================================HFSLIP run time: 33m29s
August 5, 200719 yr First things first...remove the space character from your HFSLIP path. That may not be related to your problem but it is worth a shot
August 5, 200719 yr Author i solved the msdv.in_ thing, the file was corrupt, so i just recopied it from the original disc.i installed an unmodified version of windows 2000 and installed the flash player, and i get this error, too...so i think it hasnt to do something with HFSLIP but with this version of Flash Player?
August 6, 200719 yr The newest Flash installer is from June. I installed it on an English Windows 2000 with IE6 and it's working fine.I don't know what could be the problem on your computer.
August 7, 200719 yr Author i installed an unmodified windows on another computer, the same problem...I do not have Graphics driver installed, could that be the problem??
August 12, 200719 yr i installed an unmodified windows on another computer, the same problem...I do not have Graphics driver installed, could that be the problem??Internet Explorer is known to crash if you install Flash Player with the generic 16-color driver.
