neo
Windows Vista's first service pack is arriving on August 14 through Windows Update, roughly six months after Microsoft released Vista. It is not yet clear whether the Windows Vista service pack will include security fixes or merely update certain Vista components to improve Vista's performance and compatibility. arctirus
Without even a second beta yet August 14 seems rather optimistic.
DigeratiPrime
Considering the # of Vista hotfixes available so far, and the # of post SP2 hotfixes for XP it doesn't seem right. MS is really trying to hold off XP SP3 imo, at least give us a rollup. Anyway looking forward to SP1 for Vista, looks like it will fix some big problems. Thunderbolt 2864
I hope this service pack improves performance. I hate it how Vista uses up like over 1 GIG of CPU and memory usage in the task manager is just annoying.
