when i removed internet explorer once with an older version of nLite (I havent done it recently) it mustve removed ie core support as well (even thou i didnt specify it) because I couldnt open a htm file in counterstrike. What I mean by that is that ie core was either broken or has been removed.

Not removing internet explorer may be your only solution (that i know off) - i cant help u any more.
