redrumy3 Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Hey,Have a slight problem with my friends pc, we decided to vlite his copy of Vista Home Premium Upgrade (Academic) and since we used vlite, we cant run the exe in windows because vlite has taken it out, and now we can't run the upgrade option inside windows. Any ideas on how to fix this?here's a screenshot, as you can see there's no more exe for me to run setup inside windows =[

John L. Galt Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Ummmm....not sure if the academic upgrade is any different from just a regular upgrade DVD (which is what I bought) but it has been documented all over the web that you *can* usethe upgrade to perform a a clean install - just gotta jump through some hoops.http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/31/clean-i...ade-discovered/
