New to nLite-need help

Two questions:

-Is it possible to have nLite automatically install the .NET framework upon installing Windows XP?

-Is it possible to have it create and set a new system environment variable (i.e., create variable TU and set it to Y)?

Of cause it is !

Simply use the addon.

NET 1+2 will be installed at T-13 and NET3 at first logon via GUIrunonce.

is the Dutch version-I need the US one.

Also, do you know about creating environment variables using RunOnce?

Not sure what you mean by "silent installers" or "switches".....

I am trying to make Windows install disc that installs several drivers (which I've already added), the .NET framework, and creates a new environment variable and sets it to a specific value.

We are basically looking for an alternative to Ghosting as far as putting the OS on our machines, and I am evaluating nLite as a possible solution.

This sounds like commercial systems, that nlite should be run on.

That you don´t know, what switches are, tells me, that you did not read the basics, as you should, before posting.

And I've looked through the FAQ on the nLite website. Have I missed something?

Well, I hope you didn´t miss the licence agreement, that says :

Nlite is for private and non commercial use only.

You can integrate most installers with nlite via .inf integration, but some installers and programs need to be extracted and repacked, to be silently (without popups/ clicking) installed, with switches like /norestart, /q, aso...

Maybe I misunderstood, what you ment by : create "variable TU and set it to Y".

Yeah, if you're gonna be using this in an office or something, AND you expect support, well....

I'd consider a HUGE donation if I were you. Ummm... and prolly make sure nuhi knows about it as well, and OK's it.
