Hey, all, greetings from an old hack at computers, and one that is trying to stay abreast of the technology (both hardware and software) but is slowly losing that battle.

I hail from Georgia, in the US, and have a variety of interests, not all dealing with computers.

I came here for the vLite forums in particular, but have found a wealth of other information - similar to experiences many users at the first forum in my sig say when they visit there. Don't worry, that is as far as I go shamelessly plugging that site.

I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to computers, and am slowly but surely working my way up the ladder on Vista as well. The real drawback here is that I am running Vista on a P4 2.0A GHz machine with 1 GB RAM - my saving grace is that I have an ATI Radeon x1650 Pro w/ 512 MB RAM on-board, else Vista would look horrible (but probably run faster).

Nice to meet ya - I guess I should have done the second part of your advice lol - I misread the avatar part of the rules as flash animation
