killerb255 Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 Using a PE disc with submix8c's suggestion (like BartPE or WinPE 2.0) might not be a bad idea...Even better would be an updated virus scanner loaded on the PE disc (or a browser that can store an online virus scanner's cookies on the RAM drive). (if it wasn't disabled.)found the attached script on technet...run it by saving it to your hard drive , (like c:\temp) and typing:start -> run -> cmd.execd \tempren srwmi.txt;srwmi.vbssrwmi /rpenumkeep clicking ok, and watching the date, timestamp. When you get near the time/date you installed Acro 7, write down the last entry number.when back at dos prompt, typesrwmi /restore ###(where ### is the last restore point number you saw date/timestamped before the acro 7 install)good luckThe Nets Edgedisclaimer: this will only work if system restore has been 'auto running' and not disabled.
