I do not want to create a local user account!

Featured Replies

I would like to build an autounattend.xml file which prompts me for one thing, and one thing only, which is the computer name. Everything else I would like automated.

I believe I am 90% there. My only hiccup is getting rid of the prompt which asks me to create a local account. Other than the local admin account I do not want any local accounts created as this machine will be joining a domain.

I figured out that if I set the SkipMachineOOBE property to True it will bypass the local account creation process but then it doesn't prompt me for the computer name. Instead it randomly generates it.

What am I missing??? I feel like I am so close.....

Below is a copy of my autounattend.xml file. Anyone's help is appreciated.
