[Fixed] - Who or What is 'Vibrant'

I have noticed of late that certain words in posts are double-underlined and that hovering over them triggers a floating box containing inane information from an outfit called 'vibrant'.

Do these have to be there?? They are very annoying!

Huh? I haven't seen this. Unless maybe it's some kind of advertising... I don't even remember - does MSFN have advertising? Ever since I installed AdBlock Plus, I don't ever see ads any more.

its probably spyware, ive never seen it either. run cws shredder or some other anti-spyware program to see if it disappears

It's not malware of any kind, no need to worry there.

Vibrant is a form of advertisement that helps MSFN. This is a free site and those advertisements help fund MSFN and keep this wonderful site going.

For AdBlock Plus users, show your support and right click on AdBlock Plus and click Disable on www.msfn.org. Remember, by blocking the advertisements on MSFN, you're also blocking funds that help keep MSFN going strong.

You are not supposed to see Vibrant ads once loged in. Vibrant ads are enabled only for guests.

now i am confused... do you see those ads on the frontpage, or on the forums? When you are logged in you are NOT supposed to see them on the forums, but on the frontpage everybody will see them (yes we as admins too ) let me know

Can we kill the popup on the front page as well for the people who are logged in?

It is VERY annoying when I'm trying to read something and this popup keeps showing up.

The popup?? you mean the little screen which comes up once you hover over an orange word? The only solution i have for that at this moment is to not touch it.
