hello! how to install XP Login and XP Boot file to windows cd please help me

for logon screen: replace logonui.ex_ with your edited logonui.ex_

for boot screen: replace NTOSKRNL.ex_ & NTKRNLMP.ex_ with your edited one.

Both files are found in i386.

Remember you should conver your .exe file to cab file .ex_. If you place .exe or rename .exe to .ex_ it will not work.

To convert .exe to .ex_

first copy the exe file (longon screen or boot screen) into the c: drive

then open Command Prompt and type "C:\>makecab.exe filename.xxx -c"

Example:

C:\>makecab.exe logonui.exe -c

Wrong Syntax

the syntax should be like this

 makecab logonui.exe

syntax is Wrong: makecab logonui.exe please help me

oh ya.,

first copy the file to Drive C:

then run the command prompt and type 'cd\'

you should find the prompt like this 'C:\>'

now you ready to compress the file .and the syntax should be like this and the file in the drive c:

C:\>makecab logonui.exe

you will find the compressed file in the same directory (Drive c:)

if this doesn't work then you have a corrupted files in your windows

much easier and correct

Copy both files at root of C drive

run these command and working like a charm

makecab logonui.exe

makecab ntoskrnl.exe

You will find two files named logonui.ex_ and ntoskrnl.ex_ Replace these into XPCD with existing files.
