Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me why I can't get windows 95 to install under VMWare 4.0.2, VirtualPC 5.2 or VirtualPC2004 beta? Every time I try, it gets to the setup page, attempts to copy the files needed for install across to the virtual hard drive and then throws up an error about my having disk compression software or similar running. :) Can someone please give me a shove in the right direction?

(BTW, in case anyone was wondering, now it's a M$ product, the "Linux" option under Guest OS in VirtualPC has gone, to join the all-encompassing 'other'...)

I'm using VirtualPC and Windows 95 installs fine for me! :) Check your settings or create a customized virtual HD... :rolleyes:
