1. Is it possible to create a Vista/XP ad hoc network?

2. If so, how?

I've been Googling and Googling, and I don't get the information I need.

whats an AD HOC?

Direct wNIC to wNIC, as apposed to infrastructure mode where an Access point is Used.

It should be do-able between XP & Vista. How depends on the hardware used and what is managing the cards
