ahmedramzi
I have recently tried the "Longhorn M5 Transformation Pack v3" and it was the best theme that I've ever seen.the question is how to add it to my unattended installation and make it the default theme?P.S: the "Longhorn M5 Transformation Pack" is an exe file, not a .theme one, and during the installation, the wizard warns me that the system file checker will be prompted (and it did), and i should press "cancel" ..see for yourself, here's the DownloadPage
eXPerience-XP
go to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\ and the .msstyles or the .theme file for it should be there
XtremeMaC
have you tried unistalling it?I also dled the mac os 2 when I uninstalled it my system got messed up. Explorer.exe was not found some dll were not registered.I spent 30min getting my files back and registering them! I could use the recovery console but I thought it might take longer and yes there are bunch of files in the directory experience-xp mentioned
ahmedramzi
it also contains a folder called "shell" that includes some DLL's.this themepack is a complete transofmation to the windows GUI, it replaces everything, even the bootscreens, startup & shutdowns. i don't know if all that stuff are included in the .msstyles or not, but i doubt that
b0r3d
.theme files can actually replace "shell" items. When i get home (im at CISCO now), ill investigate it a little further, download it, and attempt to get it working for you.

bjdotcom
This is what I did!....but I use MacOSX TransWhen I installed it...it transformed my whole Gui to the MacOSX Taste. Then I went to my system32 folder and seen a folder named MacOSX (for Longhorn you see a LHTrans). This is what I understood and did to my unattended files.1.) I applied my Visual themes and then in the Display Properties>Themes Tab I saved my theme as custom.theme file.2.) Now in my $OEM$ folder I created a $OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes\ folder and Placed the Mac OSX Panther (The theme which was applied on my comp)...and also placed the custom.theme in the $OEM$...\Resources\Themes.3.) Then I created a $OEM$\$$\system32\ and placed all the files which were in the System32\MacOSX\ folder (For you its LHTrans) in the $OEM&\$$\system32.So that it replaces all the *.dll files......Note: Copy only the *.dll files and place them there.4.) Not forgetting to place the Explorer.exe in the $OEM$\$$\ folder other than placing it in the $OEM$\$$\System32 folder.5.) Make a Folder named Media and place it in the $OEM$\$$\ and place all your critical sounds which came along The transformation pack. (Optional).6.) For the Wallpapers....Do the same old thing......Place all the Wallpapers in the $OEM$\$$\Web\Wallpapers folder. This is my edited theme file: I had to edit it to make changes.; Copyright © Microsoft Thanatos
I tried putting luna.ms_ and lune.th_ which had both been edited and recompressed. I got an error during setup saying setup could not copy luna.mst and it stopped. I got it working by using the options in winnt.sif
ahmedramzi
b0r3dI have succeeded in silently install the Longhorn transformation pack by using the "setup.exe /s" command, but the problem is that windows file protection prompts me during setup! though SFC is supposed to be disabled by the registry tweak:;Disable Windows File Protection[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]"SFCDisable"=dword:ffffff9dwhat more can i do to remove that SFC stupid message?
