  1. Silly me! Thanks for the advice! I did manage to make a PC-Dos floppy wich boots up Ghost, but nothing happens while in dos only an hourglass. Please help me with this? My Pc is Intell Core 2 Duo (Conroe) running WindowsXP SP2. Update: nevermind, the floppy works on intended Linux machine!
  2. I have System Works Professional 2003 CD wich includes Ghost 2003. I can´t boot Ghost 2003 from the CD so I want to make a bootable Ghost 2003 CD. Can you please give me advice on this?
  3. If log file for KB917344 has been created, than perhaps you can find out the cause of this problem.
  4. Do you have IE7 installed?
  5. I got Academic Edition copy when I asked of an upgrade edition, no question´s asked
  6. I do have one copy of XP Pro Academic Edition, are we talking about the same edition? The Academic is an Upgrade. I´m a student, computer student
  7. Maybe the article in the following link is old as Microsoft has fixed some reported bugs, but it´s interesting and maybee a bit sad http://www.symantec.com/enterprise/securit...06/07/post.html (with included 42 pages PDF report)
  8. In fact this is an interesting question! It will restore the operating system setup as it was originally provided by the manufacturer. But the question is, how will the recovery media erase existing data under the previous system state.
  9. Thanks, I see to it!
  10. Yes, where do I get the new build? I already have Vista beta 2 license.
  11. This has been my concern!
  12. Maybe it would be a ghostly shadow if they did. To be honest I think by using a bootable media included in a product like True Image or Ghost, it is a bit different than by installing it and using it on a regular basis on the licensed machine. But that is only an idea, because it is not really justifiable, as it is of course against the license terms.
  13. Thanks, they all say this of course, and I have to accept that
