so is there a free similar tool which can apply files and settings wizard settings?

usmt command line tool will do it... download: http://download.microsoft.com/download/win.../usmt_setup.exe info and usage: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechn...y/usermigr.mspx 1. clean install 2. install regtweaks 3. customize ie/explorer toolbars,double height taskbar etc [registry alone will not help as some settings are saved in 5- folders which are user specific] 4 save settings using file and settings wizard 5 use usmt tool to apply it is that correct? someone correct me if i'm wrong

i got a sblive sound card... so proably i gotta look it into wdm101k.inf file i guess .... or may i can update sblive 5.1 drivers in driver.cab and do it change it in on of those files

hexedit setupldr.bin and smss.exe(system32 dir) ... make sure you replace windows with anyword (or spaces) with a 8 letter word or else u get a bsod with somethng about sesion failure. now is there a way to change the color from blue grey..

i was thinkin on the same lines.. now jbdeock's batches [to remove drivers] may come in handy here.. they have a list of files.. say for removing nvidia drivers. all we have to do is see in jbdeock's batches nvidia files are either replace them with newer ones if the file is present if not add them to driver.cab and make an entry in txtsetup.sif... correct me if i'm wrong

can we update files in driver.cab like update nvidia driver from ver:28.xx (i think) to newest one... using this method.. and one other thing if we use gosh's reduced source method txtsetup.sif is the only file we have to edit isn't it? i'm sorry if its been discussed before
