hummmmm... why not try to use the error-checking tool in the property menu of the dirve where your windows installation is(e.g. C:/) then check the "automaticaly fix file system error" box and "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" box..then restart your comp. i have a problem like that once and that is what i did and it's OK now. hehehe..

Is there a way to make my costomized application to run 1st on start up?? i run an internet cafe buisness here.. and my costomized app is a billing system.. i tried adding a short cut of my app. in the startup folder in the start menu.. but it is always deleted by my costomers thus i cant tell how much is their bill.... tired puting it on registry here's the parth:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] i created a DWORD there and put the path of .exe of the billing app im using.. but my costomers find another way on over riding the system... via task manager during start-up....my billing system has a built-in task manager disabler after it is loaded in the OS(XP Home)..my costomer's hands are just too fast in pressing ther ctrl-alt-del combo arrr.. driving me nutsss and mad ... that's why i want my OS to load my billing app 1st because it has a built-in task manager disabler... please help me..... thanks.

pls help me i cant seem tto log-on, on my laptop..this was the senario: my computer was infected with a virus, then i installed a updated AVG anti-virus free edition and it detected all the virus that i got, after cleanning it AVG prompted that i need to restart my laptop in order for the virus removal to be successful, then i restarted my laptop and i cant seem to log on to the laptop... every time i log-on it logs-off automatically.... pls help me thanks....

what is spoolsv.exe? is there a way i can remove it on my system?? and what are the possible errors i can encounter if i remove it?? i want to remove it coz it eats a lot on my Memory and it causes my Online Games to "lagg" can i remove it using nlite??? thanks.. im not really sure where to put this post, so i post it here since i use WXP SP2 Home Edition.. if i can't disable Ctrl+Alt+Del on XP home Edition, then is there a way to change it..i mean instead Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del to display task manager, can i change it to Insert+Home Key???
