Fonts gone/corrupted?

Well recently something has happened and my fonts seem to be corrupted. what i mean is on my firewall and such the warnings that coem up have no text. any way to do a "resotre all fonts" or something? i was thinking getting them off another machine might help

EDIT: tried to grab fonts off another computer, but it was either "dont install font" or remove the existing font, which i cant do because its in use. Any help here?
