What is a good program to monitor cpu temperature/fan speed?

my main pc has 2 lan cards, one of which is used for a dsl modem. is it possible to connect my 2nd pc to the remaining lan port on my main computer and share the connection, without adding a router? if so, how?

the Windows XP SP2 Deployment tools (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=3E90DC91-AC56-4665-949B-BEDA3080E0F6&displaylang=en) have a program (setupmgr.exe) which can be used to make a custom winnt.sif file. i believe you can set the alternate config via that program

i've made a custom windows xp installation with OEM folders enabled. the directory structure is as follows: $OEM$\$Docs\Administrator\Application Data\ i'm trying to copy some files (firefox profile, some settings) onto the new windows installation during setup; but instead in my Documents and Settings folder, i get the following 2 folders: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data << with my firefox/uTorrent settings in it and nothing else; C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.PC1\Application Data << PC1 is the computer name, and windows is using THAT folder to log me in... is there any way to avoid this duplication?
