  1. I know this, so i found out a website that told how to let domain users log on the server. Nonetheless, assigning the user to the builtin Operator groups: Backup, Server, etc. still does NOT allow them to view docs and archives.
  2. I installed active directory on Windows server 2003 Standard, and everything works fine when i log in as administrator. However, when i created a domain user, and then (after much trouble) was able to login as the user; i can't view/open any type of document (txt, doc, etc.) or archive (zip, rar, etc.) I either get an 'Access is denied' error or some thing incoherent shows up in the file. What can i do? I am still fairly new to Win2k3 and AD. I do know that it revolves around permissions; i just don't how to set them, especially in this case. Thanks in advance.
  3. hmm...i d/l'd 98SE2ME a while back, but there was NO Option 8. I've d/l'd the latest version and i'll check it soon. Yes, the USB stick is USB 2.0. Isn't there a way to "transplant' WinXP driver/USB 2.0 support into Win98SE? I'd assume you'd need to install 98SE2ME completely, though.
  4. I've installed NUSB, but with most USB flash disks i insert, i have to re-start my PC everytime i want to use them. What's more, unless i keep the flash disk in my USB port while Win98 is booting up, It will NOT recognize the USB flash disk. Is this normal? Whatever happened to plug'n' play (PnP)? At least, if i could re-start my PC without having to keep the USB flash drive inserted, i'd be happy. If i install 98SE2ME will it allow me to use USB flash disks without restarting my computer? Thanks.
  5. Oops, your right, it is nusb22e.exe. Where can i download the update to USBSTOR.INF? My motherboard is an Intel 440ZX, i think, once i'm certain i'll check out Intel's site and look for those USB update drivers. After i install the motherboard USB drivers, can i UN-install Nusb, or will it be fine to just RE-install it instead? Also, about having to Restart after inserting the Sandisk Flash drive, USBman.com says it should be PnP, what's the deal? Is there something internally wrong with my PC, because i have to reboot the system everytime i use the Sandisk Flash disk?
  6. I hope i installed the latest version the file is nusb22es.exe. Anyways, after i installed nusb, it did NOT work with one of my USB flash disks. The disk is a Sony MicroVault USB 2.0 256 MB. Is it because Win98SE WON'T support USB 2.0, or what? Nusb worked with a Sandisk Cruzer Mini, but it ONLY works after i restart my computer. What gives? I thought USB is Plug'n' Play.
