If I understand correctly, you are saying that the iso filesize is 2.5GB, but the install size is 8.5GB? That is to be expected; the installation files are compressed.

Yes, I know vs6.0 is ancient, but it is what my school uses. Anyway, this installs fine on vanilla W7, but on my vlited version the setup crashes with no error messages or anything. Any ideas? Was the dual core optimizer updated for Vista/7? The last time I checked up on it, it was not written for Vista and there was some rabble about how Vista didn't need it.
