I ran your latest snm5 script and built DNF11.exe, DNF20.exe, DNF30.exe but net3+sp2 fails to get installed using runonceex.cmd. Only net1.1 and net2 are installed. Any thoughts?

I am struggling to silent install nod32 v 3.0.672 using runonceex.cmd. Previous version 3.0.621 always worked, but now I get a lot of trouble trying to install 3.0.672, for now in vmware. @strel 1. Follow the instructions described by Tomcat in the first post, steps 1 to 4, not 5 What instructions do you mean? Can you be more specific? I have read them all and I don't understand what steps are to be taken. If I install merged .net 1.1+hotfixes and .net 2 and then dotnet3 without sp1, in windows update .net 1.1 and .net 2 do show up. They are not installed. So probably .net3 (without sp1) installation routine uninstalls .net1.1 and net.2. Something is not right with the script. I'd like to install and ONLY these: Net 1.1 +2 hotfixes = Net Framework 1.1 redist + NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe + NDP1.1sp1-KB928366-X86.exe NetFx20SP1_x86.exe = Net Framework + SP1 redistributable NetFx30SP1_x86.exe = Net Framework + SP1 redistributable and XPSEPSC-x86-en-US.exe as a prerequisite for NetFx30SP1_x86.exe. I don't want to install Net Framework 3.5

I just gave up. Wht nlite is doing is renaming all those files "luna.msstyle" to "luna.mst" and all the other ones that I mentioned and cabing them inside NLVST folder. Inside LUNA.TH_ I have "luna.the" instead of "luna.theme", in "WINDOWSCLASSIC.TH_" I have "windowsclassic.the" instead of "windowsclassic.theme", etc. All the extensions are changed and thereby the files are not copied during setup using winnt32.exe method. I changed the extensions, rearchived the files but I still get the error. Probably there are some references inside other files. I didn't test the iso on a real machine, only in vmware because my dvd-rw drive is broken. Nuhi, it would be great if you could lend me a helping hand here. Regards, Atolica

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am integrating sata/raid drivers and this not the first time, they always worked, never had problems with them. Yes the txtsetup.oem is there, I know it can cause monkey business. As for nlite, I had exactly the same problems with the latest nlite version and I thought I try the previous one, but the same thing happens. I am suspecting the physx.exe driver that is now bundled in the latest nvidia drivers, version 178.24, but this the only thing that comes to me now. I've done this hundreds of time and I hadn't any problems. Now it's a pain. If you can think of anything else, please let me know. I have to make it work. I just looked which driver failed to install/integrate, and it seems that nvidia drivers are the only ones. I will delete physx.exe the next time I'll build an iso and test it. Here I am again. After 60 tries in vmware and several in nlite I had it. The nlited xp doesn't install properly. It works flawlessly in vmware, but when installing it on the real machine it cannot find some files: Luna.theme, Luna.msstyle, Windowsclassic.theme, Shellstyle.dll. After that everything crumbles. It logs using administator account not the one I created, runonce sequence doesn't run at all (in vmware it does) and some of the drivers are not integrated/installated. I am installing from a usb stick using winnt32.exe, and I noticed that the folder "$WIN_NT$.~BT" still exists on my C:\ drive, when it shouldn't. The files inside it are, mainly drivers. What the heck is wrong here? Any help is needed. I am attaching the las session.ini Thank you. AAAA.ini

But why is this happening? I already added them in nlite in themes setup. Add all local themes or something. Should I deactivate that in the future?

nLite.cmd fails to get created.

The pk is verified. I already built a working nlited xp+sp3 distribution that ran smoothly once. For some reason the pk is not filled in, and I am asked to fill it in. And guirunonce is not starting as it should and did. Greets Here's the Last session.ini. Last_session.ini

It's my legit key bought from MS. Of course it works. I didn't say it doesn't recognize the pk, I'm saying the pk fields are not filled in. Like the winnt.sif it's not being read.

Also Guirunonce is not running(it ran just once). I rebuilt the iso 3 times and still no go.

Hi all I just modified a windows xp distro with nlite and making it unattended, entered the pk, personal data in unattended fields, but I am still asked to enter it. Winnt.sif is where it's suppose to be, in i386 folder. Any thoughts?

No I didn't. Do I have to? Wouldn't it work other way? I mean, building those 2 packages and run them separately?? Also, hidcon fails to hide the dos box during setup.

I am using NetFx20SP1_x86.exe and I tried to reinstall it several times but no go. Something is weird. .Net Framework 2 (dotnetfx.exe) works though.

.Net Framework 2 SP1 doesn't get installed under VMware using Silent .NET Maker. I bet it will not install under real XP either. Is there a problem here? my os: Windows XP SP3 32bit
