Hmmm... I had the same problem. Resolved it by copying some translated texts from apropriate polish files, especialy from [sTRINGS] sections, but not only. List of files: DFRG.IN_ MPLAYER2.IN_ NETMSCLI.IN_ NETTCPIP.IN_ SYSSETUP.IN_ HIVEDEF.INF HIVECLS.INF LAYOUT.INF SHELL.INf SYSOC.IN_ MSOE.INF Please look through them carefuly, to find translatable lines...

So I made a cmd file from your one. It's attached to this post. Maybe it will be usefule for some people Also I have some doubts... 'Cos I still have old icons of mouse and keyboard in Control Panel. Can you help me in getting rid of them? Hi folks! Unforunetely I have to confirm the error mentioned above... I get the same message about missing value in .sif file. I've prepared HFDRV folder as Oleg said to. I tried installing from source with and witout fdv's file set. Txtsetup.sif files look the same in both cases: (...) [SourceDisksFiles] (Here is a loooooong list of files) [SetupData] [SourceDisksFiles] HFDRV1.inf=1,,,,,,,20,0,0 [SourceDisksFiles] HFDRV.CAB = 2,,,,,,_x,39,0,0 [SetupData] DriverCabName=HFDRV.CAB,driver.cab [FileFlags] HFDRV.CAB=16 There are such lines in layout.inf from nonFDVed source, and not in FDVed one: [SourceDisksFiles] HFDRV1.inf=1,,,,,,,20,0,0 Dosnet.inf is the same in both sources: [Files] d1,HFDRV1.inf [Files] d1,HFDRV.CAB Please help us with it! @ironside: Create yawi.ini file with correct path to at least one existing file. Incorrect lines are ignored, so if there is no fine path, yawi won't run.

Huh... When I was takieng a look on your new site recently everything worked fine. But now the only dynamic part of it is "Let HFSLIP slipstream Service Pack 4", which does modify the list. Other switches do not... I'm using Opera 8.51 build 7712. Hope you'll manage to fix it soon, that's a great utility!

No, it's not about help system I wanna make some plugin for my IM working. I know it needs ie6, so I overwrote mshtml files with ie6' ones. No effect. Dunno what more files I need so I have posted a question on that im's cummunity forum. Waiting for answer now. Maybe you can tell me, which file is older than it should be, if I get such an error messege?

Hi again! Oleg, your solution resolved my problem. It was the matter of bad filename. Everything is now rendered without any problems. I have also added your [Ext.Reg] section w/modified paths to winhtml.inf and it seems to install well. Thanks a lot! And mayby you can tell me something about putting IE6 html engine in system? Would that files slow down my old machine as fdv wrote on his site?

When I open "Network connection creator", I cannot choose the "connect to internet via telephone connection" option, it's gray. Sorry for names, but I don't know, how they are called in english version. I don't use dial-up too, but want to install ie-stripped down version of windows on friend's machine and she does connect with dial-up... Maybe the reason for graying option is lack of any modem on my computer? PS. Woah! It's nearly 3am here in Wroclaw! I'm going to bed... Good night then, thanks for your support!

Oleg, thanks for a quick reply! I installed your help.inf few secs ago. Chm files are now well assosiated and open directly from explorer and from programs. But... Suprisingly, I cannot read anything but list of contents. Main part which used to by displayed on right side of help window is blank. And other programs have no problems with mshtml rendering (despite the one which needs ie6 libs...). I'll try to compare your inf with winhtml.inf form fdv's fileset. It should do what yours by default...

Can anybody answer me, if implementing of mshtml engine from IE6 is possible, when using fdv's files? Of course I'm talking 'bout installation with winhtml.inf. Would it have some bad effect on system performance, compared to windows with IE5 engine? And next question, is it normal, that after installing winhtml.inf, .chm help files still aren't supported by os? "And now something (not so) completely diffrent"... I don't want to start another topic, so I'm asking here. Where has WMI gone from services.msc? :>

Hi everybody! I want to get back dial-up functionality to hfslipped Windows, treated w/fdvfiles. Unfortanetely I spotted the lack of it recently and I really would like to change that... Could you tell me how to do it? Thanks in advance...
