When you are connecting through Lan connection you should just disable the "always dial my default connection option" and set it to "Never dial a connection" given that you use internet explorer go to Tool>Internet Options>Connections.

I have encountered this very same issue and still at till now. the pc is currently acting as a internet gateway (got 2 nics that's lan and net) file and print sharing is enabled and the internet sharing is working perfect in that others can access the web without any problem.. but the real issue is that other computers can't view any shared folders or printers on the gateway pc! anyway around this

Hi all, I've had some problem figuring how to have an auto start cd create a new entry into the start menu>programs. the thing is once someone click on the new entry with the cd in the drive they should have the ability to acess files without difficulty. I really need help if anyone knows of a script that'll perform this tasks thanks
