  1. it works the same for XP, but you can't use the viewer to view the ETL. Also you can't instal it on XP, you must copy it from Win7.
  2. this time the shutdown is fine. It takes 9s and 5s to stop the services. timing shutdownTime="9376" servicesShutdownDuration="5006"> Add the -noPrepReboot parameter to the command line to avoid 1 reboot. This should now trace the delay from the first shutdown.
  3. all summaries don't look good. But I need the ETL files. Can you compress them as 7z (LZMA2/Ultra) and upload them? In all cases the WinlogonInit (starting services, request password, connect network connections) is slow WinlogonInit" startTime="23322" endTime="418517" duration="395195"> If you use a HDD run the optimization I linked in the first post and look if this improves it. And xbootmgr doesn't tell you why it only boots while docked. I can only see why it is slow and how to solve the slowness.
  4. remove the USB audio and test again. I think this is the device which causes the issue.
  5. which USB devices do you use?
  6. in the second trace the system kernel took longer to shutdown: interval name="NtShutdownSystem" startTime="16726" endTime="61308" duration="44581" /> and the Bullgard services were also slow and not responding: - <unresponsiveServices numUnresponsiveServices="3"> <unresponsiveService name="BsFileScan" /> <unresponsiveService name="BsFire" /> <unresponsiveService name="BsMailProxy" /> Remove Bullgard and test again.
  7. the trace says your Windows is ok: - <timing shutdownTime="8517" servicesShutdownDuration="5019"> So the complete shutdown takes 8.5s and most time it takes to shutdown the services (5 seconds). And here there is1 hanging service: unresponsiveServices numUnresponsiveServices="1"> <unresponsiveService name="BsMailProxy" /> So update or remove BullGuard and check if this fixes the sporadic delays.
  8. ok, go in the BIOS and change it to 2.
  9. I have no idea. This is something for the Microsoft support.
  10. you can't do anything against it. The only thing you can do is to buy a better Wifi NIC.
  11. agree. Hopefully MSFT (Steven Sinofsky) now stops trying to imitate Steve Jobs because his vision of products can't be copied.
  12. Welcome to msfn. Enjoy the forum
  13. Remove WinImage and try again. This is a virtual DVD drive software. maybe the driver has some issues with resume. What is KB2559635? I can't find what this is. Is it a private hotfix? Have you installed new drivers for the SATA controller at this time?
  14. what happens at the August 12th? What have you installed/changed? At August 9th, there was patchday. Maybe it was an update which caused it. Do you have a system restore point before August 12th?
  15. look in the eventlog. When did you see the first kernel 41 entry?
  16. do you use BIOS 1.70? Did the hibernation ever worked correctly or has it stopped after using it already? Do you use the latest drivers fro your SATA controller? Also try this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2541014 Ruhezustand funktioniert nicht oder Speicherabbild wird nicht erstellt, nachdem Windows 7 oder Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 installiert wurde
  17. what are the parameter of the Kernel Power 41 entries? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504
  18. I mean the hibernation error message you get. You can also try to use the WPT 4.8: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8279 maybe this version works.
  19. this is a RAM setting. run CPU-Zand look at the memory tab: Do you see 1 or 2 as value?
  20. that's good Which error message do you get? Zip the ETL with 7-Zip to a 7z archive with LZMA2/Ultra compression and upload it to mediafire.com or to your SkyDrive/DropBox and post the link here.
  21. RAM, HDD and CPU are the Bottleneck. Which Windows do you use? With Superfetch in Vista and Windows 7 Firefox starts in 1 second on my PC.
  22. delete the folder "Temporärer Ordner für zu brennende Dateien" and look if this improves it.
  23. do you run the RAM with Commandrate 1T? If yes, change it to 2.
  24. compressed or something like this? Does chkdsk detect any errors? What are the ACL settings for the folder? have you modified them?
