  1. I'm for it, as it would the admins & parents jobs easier when creating surf-control filters.
  2. Yes, as long as you have a corresponding DNS record for mail.test.com that points to the server (Use split zone DNS if need be). Just add mail.test.com as the host header name to the IIS->Exchange web sites configuration.
  3. True, however I happen to have a "Lab" in my home. Also Ghosting a drive assumes the hardware isn't going to change, unless you happen to like having phantom devices skulking around in devmgmt...and your sure you haven't done anything really important since the last imaging, that you're about to blow away.
  4. The 3 servers in my lab are routinely formatted, never. My primary workstation is routinely formatted, never. My wife's workstation is routinely formatted ... about every 6 months Note: That's the only one that "everybody" gets to "play" with. My other lab/test machines get formatted anywhere between never and 12 times a day depending on what I'm doing at the time.
  5. Longshot...But are you using the same machine name for both of the dual boot installs? That will cause a SID conflict that will have both installs fighting over the computer's domain account.
