I started a computer business almost two years ago from my home. I am 26 and have only been in the computer field for about 3 maybe 4 years. Most of my business revolves around removal of viri and malware, but I also custom build. I have a few clients that are friends of my grandparents and dont know to much about computers other then how to turn it on and start chatting in an IM program. I used to use Remote Desktop to connect at night and update programs and make sure everything is ok. How would I go about getting an email with all updated IPs from these computers so as I dont have to go over there or call and ask them to go to whatismyip.com and read me out their IP? Hopefully you will thank me....I just started useing this and man I have to tell you...I am SO in love with it. Its called RealVNC and I have it on all of my computers. Its so costomizable and small. Doesnt use much bandwith or memory. http://realvnc.com/ enjoy

If you throw a "-T" then the amount of seconds it will do it that way... shutdown.exe -T 300 ...you know..whatever

Does this affect your speed much? I have cable with 5000 downstream and just under 400 upstream. Thans in advance for the help

I dont know how to do the silent install for certian programs and dont have time given im attending two schools, have a full time job and a girlfriend (so...two full time jobs) I wrote a small batch file to copy the install files straight to the desktop. Then I wrote another one to delete the files after I have installed them, only I cant find a switch that works without having to answer "Y" and enter after each one. Here is the batch file.
