  1. I won't add it and people are urged to disregard the above. If HFSLIP exits out 5 seconds before the end, you think everything is OK but it's not.
  2. @retalv... I can't do that because nobody can then see the difference between a successful run and a crash.
  3. It's also in an ISO and it also resides in the program folder. I'll make a silent switchless and will test it out.
  4. Sorry Please download HFSLIP 1.0.1...
  5. Well... HFSLIP doesn't process VMWare additions specifically, but I made a silent/switchless installer for the VMWare tools (download) which can be installed at T-13; it's based on the installer by RogueSpear. This file should be placed in HFSVCPACK.
  6. Not really. You can use the latest version of DBLBINXP.EXT in HFCLEANUP to have it done automatically by HFSLIP, or do it by hand afterwards.
  7. @Super-Magician: Sorry... My bad... Check 1.0rc1
  8. It might be although I can't immediately see why. What's for certain is that you don't need it when including the security hotfix WindowsMedia10-KB917734-x86-ENU.exe, which includes a newer version of wmp.dll.
  9. Those three others were already covered. I think you were a bit behind on updates with that file...
  10. Hi Kiki. I just tested the RC and it's working fine. The only thing I can think of is that you have a folder structure like "X:\I386\SVCPACK" on one of your hard disks where "X" is a drive letter that precedes the drive letter of the optical drive from which you install Windows. No idea why WMP10 is failing for you. Try by removing all Windows media hotfixes that aren't mentioned on our lists.
  11. @Kiki 1) Please upgrade to 61019a anyway because it's not just for that addon. 2) I see you already removed VMwareTools.exe. Someone else was having problems too and they were solved by removing that program. 3) Try to remove anything from your HFSVCPACK folder; it may be something in there that's causing the issue. 4) I'm now checking what could be wrong with the Recovery Console installation; the code is still the same.
  12. @TAiN: I think it's better to do it by hand. That way it's easier to strip out the unnecessary stuff. I'll make a PDF when HFSLIP 1.0 is out (both Letter and A4 format).
  13. Updated version Direct link (ENU) Thanks to TAiN for the notice
  14. Looking good, Camarade. (I deleted the double posts )
  15. Thanks. This way I can complete the checksum entries on my 2K beta page some more
  16. OK... kmixer.sy_, splitter.sy_ and wdmaud.sy_ were added to DBLBINXP.EXT
  17. Well... I was toying with the idea to have the site translated by volunteers and host them on the same domain. You feel like "donating" the Polish translation? Nie tak dobje pisam po Polsku...
  18. @Kiki... If you want to keep the addon, use 61019a I'll check out those three files dumpdupes reported and will update the DBLBINXP.EXT file if necessary.
  19. NtegrA... Strange. "wmlaunch.exe" is part of MP10Setup.exe. Are you removing it with nLite or something? How are you installing "IBM System Update" after the final reboot?
  20. They are of no help. Please remove Ricktendo64_LunaBlackLClock_AddOn.7z because it screws up SVCPACK.INF. This I forgot to mention.... 1) Nothing was changed in the code for the Recovery Console installation. I'll have a look at it anyway. 2) The WMP11 addon is incompatible with the thorough slipstreaming HFSLIP does of WMP10. Why do you need both anyway? The plan is to tackle WMP11 slipstreaming after the new final is out. @retalv: It's already possible but it isn't "public" because we can't provide support for automated HFSLIP runs. If you make a mistake, we can't know what it is. Maybe someone will PM you with details. @NtegrA: What does the pop-up say? Can you share your HFSLIP.LOG and HFSLIPWU.INF files?
  21. No delay. But the plan was that the new HFSLIP final would've been released already and that IE7 slipstreaming was attempted for the subsequent test releases by now... I hope the final IE7 lends itself better to slipstreaming. RC1 had several problems.
  22. @Kiki: A few points... 1) Upgrade to 61017b and remove the Sri Lanka time zone update. 2) One of your hotfixes is dumping wmfdist95.exe into the pool. While not a real problem, I'll have it deleted in the next version of HFSLIP. 3) You don't need to include both Addon_LClock_v4w_dgelwin.cab and Addon_LClock_v4_dgelwin.cab. They are different but the files inside have the same names. One addon is overwriting the other. 4) Remove Ricktendo64_LunaBlackLClock_AddOn.7z until further notice...
  23. @Wela... We'll see. I'll make a VM install of XPSP2 German and will decide after that. Everything OK with XPSP2 French. HFSLIP run, VM installation, WMP10 and Microsoft Update. I included all updates on my "beta" list minus KB896344-v2 (for English and Japanese distros only) and the Genuine Advantage Notifications update (indeed no longer required), and added KB892211 (Web Folders update), KB914440-v10 (Network Diagnostic tool) and KB923996-v2 (IE6 pop-ups update). No hiccups whatsoever. I even took 15 screenshots which I may post on a web page later. Will try XPSP1 French later today or tomorrow.
  24. Wela... I just tried 61017b with XPSP2 German and complete hotfix/update list. I didn't have any problems. First try disabling your anti-virus software and any script blockers you may have running. If that doesn't help, please give me those HF*.TXT files which exist in the HFSLIP folder while the hotfixes are processed in a ZIP file. FYI... If you get a "TEMP folder already exists" error that means the "error" is with the previous hotfix.
  25. We need a new "final" ASAP. There are hotfixes that aren't supported by the current one. How are things with Wela, Kiki and Camarade Tux? Everything OK with HFCLEANUP? The deadline I'd like to propose is Thursday.
