It was mentioned over at MDL that 9926 did not have the correct Symbols, or something along those lines, and that Microsoft was working to fix it with a install package. I maybe wrong, but that is what I remember being said. I read the same thing, but again I have been wrong before just ask my wife.. ~DP well then that makes two of us that maybe wrong according to your wife... lol

Haha, OK that was what I was missing then. I did not use the installer originally. I just used the Win10 updated version and found a schedual.bat and used that. I will delete the folder and start from scratch then. Thanks..

Is this the proper way to uninstall and reinstall to try new version? 1. Delete all files in the C:/AeroGlass folder? 2. Use the installer to install the Windows 8.1 latest version? 3. Then download, extract the Jan 29th Win10 new version and overwrite the files in AeroGlass folder? 4. Then use the same schedual.bat file to get it all started again? Will that work fine to test new version?

By using the Beta version of Classic Shell for Windows 10 => http://classicshell.net/history/#v420 ~DP If you like the default start menu can I use the Beta version of Classic Shell ONLY to get the blur to stick? You should only be using the BETA version of Classic Shell for Windows 10 anyway. Windows 10 is receiving extreme changes to its UI and Start Menu, so only the BETA version would seem to be the proper Classic Shell version to be using with it.

That worked perfectly thanks. OK, not sure why but Classic Shell no longer works properly. So going to uninstall and re-install it to see if that fixes it. Just do not understand how the font can be the same color as the background but only after installing Aero Glass. I hate gremlins... EDIT: Uninstall and re-installing has changed nothing. Glass mode is still unusable. VERY strange...

Does anyone know why Classic Shell full glass mode was affected when I ran Aero Glass? Also I would like to test Aero glass with Classic Shell glass mode so is there a simple way to quickly undo or disable Aero Glass for testing purposes? Or do I just need to delete the folder and then recreate it to see what happens? Sent from my Nexus 7

Yeah, I like using ClassicShell's full glass mode myself. However, this Aero Glass mod kinda messed it up. It was readable immediately before applying Aero Glass to my 9926, but immediately after the mod I can no longer read text on the start menu. Also, on my 2560x1440 DVI monitor dragging windows are no longer smooth, and its jerks hard core when I go from screen to screen. On the Dell however it is smooth. Weird... Anyway, what is the method for uninstalling this Aero Modification? Do I just delete the C:/AeroGlass folder? I did not use the installer, I just did it all manually. Looks good, especially if I use white and drop the color intensity to its lowest setting, then it looks like glass. Very nice indeed.

Yes, I have the exact same thing happening so I have sign up here for an account to let you know your not alone. A buddy of mine and I have been working on this for a week now and to no avail. I have uninstalled, reinstalled forceware version, uninstalled reinstalled codecs, just about anything this veteran could think of. Already tried the color correction as the first thing to do. Nothing fix's it what so ever. Except for going to an older video driver. This problem seems isollated to WMP10 only as DivX, WinDVD5 do not have this symptom. I play a lot of half life 2 and Counter Strike Source and Valve recommends these drivers. I did notice much improvement in gameplay with 77.72 with my eVGA 6800 Ultra PCI-Express video card. But, unlike most of you I am running Windows XP x64. I run a large Microsoft Certified community forum PlanetAMD64 where we are dedicated to this OS so I do not have the option of going back to XP 32-bit (I wouldnt even if I did have the option). Anybody have any idea what is going on with the WMP10 video going to whiteout like this? It is like you just turned up the brightness to an extreme level and ALL of my video files types are played this way, but only in WMP10. No other player seems to be afected. Thanks in advance...
