  1. Let me guess, I must have had a timer, to tell me when to pause my speach so it would coincide with the mouse cursor movement. Live meeting also has a built in chat box to which I was using that to communicate when they first signed in, before I called them long distance. Let me guess, the slideshow must have the ability to write and respond to the person by itself. I'm in IT, not sales. Why would I try to sell you something you can't buy yet. Something I can't give you a price on. Wouldn't it be a waste of time. A sales pitch ultimate goal is to get you to buy the product in the end. My demo is to get you knowledge of the next level of security, nothing more. No one is forcing you to go buy it, I'm showing it to you on my own time, so what's the harm done? Man, I've never heard of a firewall that stops executables after they were copied on the drive, launched from external media, or moved from other areas of the OS before. Obviously it's not a firewall. Exactly what have you lost in watching the live demo? Nothing. I'm not placing you under any type of contract that says you have to buy it later. So, what are you afraid of?
  2. You gain knowledge, while I gain practice. I'm giving and taking at the same time. It's a barter agreement.
  3. Wouldn't an "Allow list" be equivalent to keeping a database of things? We don't have a database of things "allowed". We don't keep a list. We don't have signatures. You don't make rules. I'm not asking anyone to pay for seeing it. I'm not forcing you to see it. I don't demand that you do. It's your choice. But to just say you won't even look at if for FREE is very odd. That's like me saying I will give you a chance to see your favorite female actress naked behind a glass wall for FREE! And you turn around and say no, because I can't touch her.
  4. Demo = LIVE (same as if I was in front of your face doing it). You didn't call my bluff, because you didn't send me your e-mail to view the Live viewing of our contorl. This is not my nor the companies medium for advertising. I'm trying to practice on giving demos via Live Meeting. I've only had it for about a week. Before that, I was traveling to every client to install and present. This saves me traveling cost. I'm trying to practice in front of NON-Client people, so that when I step in front of the potential million dollar contract Client, I don't stumble in my presentation deliver. The software will not stumble, only just me and my verbally explanation of it. No...because they will give us the most money the FATEST!. Don't worry, you will get your turn to play with it, but not until we have overcome the politics of the corporate world. It is not my intent to belittle, insult, or undermine your intelligence. If you felt that I did, I do apologize. A lot of you probably are smarter than me. However, I know something good when I see it. I do have a computer degree. And this is not my first computer job since graduation. There is a little chinese saying that goes something like this: "In order for you to taste my tea, you have to empty your cup". In other words, in order for someone with a high level of expertise in computers, they are going to set aside everything they know about computers to accept what it is that we do. They are going to bring EVERYTHING they know about computers to the table. In other words, there KNOWLEDGE in and of itself has hindered them from accepting, as well as not understanding something that is NEW and non-accomplished by already existing technology. Truly a "There is nothing that can do any better, because I'VE SEEN IT ALL" attitude. These are the hardest people to deal with when it comes to showing them something that actually is NEW. The Logic: If everyone new and seen everything there ever was to see, then how does the word NEW come about to exsist? (no pun intended, just trying to get you to see) I did put up, where were you while I was doing it?
  5. Video vs. Live....see the difference. That's right, this is not a distribution channel for me, nor the company. I'm doing it to practive giving presentations. The real presentations are done by our Co-CEO/CTO. And that is to the actually clients. I'm using MSFN to practice and that's pretty much it. Yeah, I've done demos in person on the old stuff, but like I said, I just started with live meeting doing demos. So, I'm trying to practice. But like you said, IT WORKS! I just need to profect my delivery. The new features I have only been playing with just two days before I showed it to you. So, I'm new to them just as much as they are to you. I'm not trying to sell to the CFO of IBM or something, so I'm learning how to deliver a good presentation. So, if I screw up verbally, let me know. So that when I do get in front of the client, I will be all the better. Actually, it is ready and able for general distribution. Those New features I showed you were the finishing touches to the software. I only showed you like a 5th of it's capabilities. But I assume you thought that because of my deliver of the presentation. I will only get better as practice continues. But the software is ready for corporate distribution. We have clients running it already. However, they are running our older ver. Not the new stuff I showed you last night. But get this, they don't want to upgrade, because our older technology serves them just fine. For what they do, our old technology provides them with a secure environment. The new stuff makes the old stuff look light years behind. But yet even the old stuff makes AV look light years behind. I'm going to be busy all day today. I will probably have to respond to everyone else this weekend when I have some spare time. DMAN is the only person that got to see the demo, He SAW it work LIVE! (same as if I was sitting in front of him) And I still get flamed(And they say thier not set in their ways and are openminded).
  6. The answer to the question is yes, we stop rookkits. Guys, put all your comments on hold until I after the meeting. I have some things to do here at work that I need to wrap up, and then I'm going to launch the meeting for those who have given me their e-mail address. Which a total of about 3 people. After they see the demo, I will be back on the board to answer question the best way that I can. Also, you will have comments from an unbias source, that they may give you the low down instead of hearing it all from me. It will be a few hours from now until the meeting takes place. Till we talk again.
  7. It's being used my friend. So, it is available. Just you can't have it as of yet. Only the network version can our clients have. It dosen't restrict applications. It restricts the ENTIRE Computer. Nothing else does that the way we do. Rules? Do you think we run on the same technology as IPS or IDS? The answer to that question is NO. Check out this article and read the flaws with IPS and IDS systems found HERE After that, read the white paper again on our website, and you will see that we are not using the same technology as that? ImmE uses very complex algorithms to do what it does. Read previous post.
  8. Yes, please do stop me, by calling my bluff. I beg of you....LOL
  9. Read previous post. and you are the co\ceo?????? What are you talking about? No where have I said I was the Co-Ceo. So, I don't understand your comment here. Please elaborate.
  10. I would have actually have to get a step by step process listing on how you guys are doing things, to better accurately answer "Will it work on your system". Only thing I can tell you is that it has very good flexibility. And that you can make as flexible as you need be. You have the power of it's flexibility in your own hands. I have yet to see it hinder and not be able to adapt to any network construct. Also, I don't remember if I posted it previously or not. But the fact is, our customers drive the product. So, if there is something that needs to be implemented in order to co-exsist with your network, then we can talor it to your needs. However, you have to be a heavy hitter in order to get that kind of treatment. To be quite frank with you, the Home Ver. in it's current state is 'ready', 'willing' and 'able' to protect your machine. The problem is that we don't have the time to support Joe Schmo sitting in his boxers asking dumb questions. We are a small company, and that is why we haven't pushed our home ver. onto the market. I have been running the home ver. on my pc at the house for over a year. Get this though, the home ver. is far more advanced than traditional AV software but not as advanced as our network version, that we consider the Home version, "OLD" stuff. If you look back at the previous where I posted links to those articles, the feedback that was given then was on the "OLD" stuff to which the Home ver. runs currently. If they talked about the "OLD" stuff like that, imagine how much greater the "NEW" stuff is over traditional AV software. I wouldn't be the person to talk to about pricing. I don't venture into that department. It's not of major concern for us, because we are not selling it to the masses yet. I'm sure all that will be worked out soon though. You and Thauzar have the opportunity to join my live meeting session that I'm going to give later on this evening. All I have to do is e-mail you the instructions to get into the live meeting demo. You can PM me your e-mail, and I will send you the instructions later on today.
  11. Thank you for showing me some love. I don't get why everyone is so hostile. Other than a "LIVE" demo, I would have to fly to your locations and do it in front of you. But for some reason I don't think you would pay for my plane ticket...lol. You are saying everything I WANT to say. But I will stay level headed and professional about their skeptisim and just demo for the people that are interested in this new technology. I don't think I would keep it going this long, if I was just BSing everyone. I have posted other facts from 3 party sources, and I still get taunted. What gives? I'm just trying to give people something new to think about. Is Yzowl the only non-egotistical person in here besides me? Not once have I insulted anyone. That is what we have been doing. We don't give the evals out to just ordinary people. They have all been people like the chief technical strategist of major corporations, head executives in major corportations, and high ranking government officials. You know, people with political pull and power. We have had to go this route because of all the politics behind what we are doing. There have been certain organizations that don't want such a technology to hit the market. As a matter of fact we just finished a live meeting demo a couple of days ago with some top executives of a major banking branch. They will be getting eval. copies of our software to play with. That's why I agreed to do a live demo for them. But the "PRIDE" is so great, that they don't even want the "possibilty" nor "opportunity" that they are wrong and I'm right to even happen, given the lack of anyone taking me up on my offer to view the "Live" demo. This is all I've heard "You are full of crud too". "Nah, I don't want to give you the opportunity to prove me wrong". Is everyone so afraid of getting their "EGO's" hurt, that they don't want to see it. I have only talked the talk, and I can walk the walk too. But all you do is hear my "talk", say I'm BS, but don't give me the opportunity to show you the "walk". Therefore, you can not justify your actions or statements against me, because you are not willing to see the demo live. You have no grounds to say it dosen't work, if you did not participate in seeing it run. You know, I wouldn't mind giving you a copy of it. You would probably be the only person. However, I don't have that authority to give it to you. However, you are more than welcome to view the demo if you wish.
  12. Refer to my previous post. And the one before that with the articles from Federal Computer Weekly. Now, good night and we will converse/and do a demo tomorrow my fellow skeptics.
  13. Just to let everyone know, I have finished setting up the Live Meeting on my demo machines. However, it is 3:49 AM here in TN and I have to be at work at 8ish. So, I'm going to bed. Tomorrow, after work I will launch my "LIVE" demo. Only people who have given me their e-mail address will be able to view the demo. So, for those of you that think I'm BS you, feel free to flame me all you want AFTER you see the demo. I promise you, that I will not try to waste your time with showing you the software.
  14. 1) Call my bluff then and take me up on my offer to do a live demo. 2) It dosen't have to be pretty to work. What's more important, functionality, or pretty colors. I think I would rather go with functionality. 3) People make mistakes all the time. No one is perfect. Besides if there is a spell checker, I would be using it. However, I don't seem to see any feature for that when you make a post. If so, please bring this to my attention. Top executives use spell checkers, but that does not make them any less of a professional nor does it make them dumb. 4) The system is still protected, the admin would know that the machine was no longer communicating via the main console, and every alert that was generated while you were disconnected would be held in que waiting for that connection to take place again. Once the connection was re-established, the main console will get all the alerts that were waiting from the client machine. Make no confusion....The protection of the machine is from the client itself. To interact with the client, you need the manager/admin console. The client is what protects the machine. Not the "communication" to the manager/admin console.
  15. What more do you want me to do? 1) I have already posted one of the screenshots to the program. Would you like more? 2) I have told you to call my bluff, but ANY of you have yet to do that. I can post articles from the Federal Computer Weekly website about our software if you lik. Here is the link to one http://www.fcw.com/article84382-10-18-04-Web The article goes as this: Thursday, June 30, 2005 Print this version Email to a friend Send a letter Send a letter line Stratcom to use BBX ADVERTISEMENT Click here Click here! RELATED LINKS "Agencies express interest in Windows sealant" [FCW.com, June 21, 2004] "ImmuneEngine" [FCW.com, June 21, 2004] BY Frank Tiboni Published on Oct. 18, 2004 More Related Links Officials at BBX Technologies Inc. announced Oct. 17 that Strategic Command leaders will use the company's product to protect the military's computer networks. Nashville, Tenn.-based BBX received a contract Oct. 15 to provide ImmuneEngine to enforce the configuration of Stratcom systems and protect them from malicious code and computer worm attacks. Officials did not release a dollar figure for the deal. BBX officials said they received the contract under the Defense Information Systems Agency's Information Assurance program. The company won work under the IAssure contract for a host-based unauthorized executable prevention and system repair tool. Officials in the Executive Office of the President use ImmuneEngine to protect national security information on computer networks in the White House. BBX officials tout the automated product's ability to inhibit most, if not all, the vulnerabilities in Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating system. Here are a few more from the FCW site. Agencies express interest in Windows sealant (6/21/2004) and ImmuneEngine (6/21/2004)
  16. Did you read my previous post? I told you 95% of our clients have never even seen the site. No one bothers to update it, because we really don't need to. Those that want to know about the product either hear it from us verbally, or someone else verbally.
  17. What's so funny about listing facts?
  18. Did you just say you were in I.T.? So you have have a diploma of some sort? A 2 month training class at most (probably from the same company you are working for:P). How do you understand this stuff . n00b ! ]Bonkers[ PS. Admins, don't delete, this is entertaining! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you are set in your ways, like people are with their P.H.D's in computer science, and don't have an open mind as some of you on this thread, it has been somewhat difficult for them to comprehend, and they just don't get it. They don't comprehend how this software can control the the OS like it does. Please, don't insult me. I wish to remain as professional as I can, so don't jump to a conclusion that I'm a noob. Just to iterate for you, yes I do have a degree. But I don't have a P.H.D, therefore I don't have a mind set on "This is the only way to program". Not saying all P.H.D's do, just saying that they are the MOST skeptical ones, because they have been told for numerous years that "This is the only way to program." That's the problem with a lot of computer techies. They are so use to seeing something done a certain way, that if something new were to come along, that would mean they would have to scrap their whole concept of what is possible and not possible in the Microsoft arena.
  19. True indeed. This why we have different flavors of the software. Within the network version of the software, we break it into two categories. Poweruser, and Lock Down. The PowerUser has the ability to install and have control over ImmuneEngine. He will get alerts on his own desktop, as well as the Admins desktop. Lock Down version is the one I have been describing all along. However, we also have a Home version. It does not Lock Down your system the way the network version does. However, it will be updated soon with some of the new features of the network version, such as the policy dispatch(ability to scan every executable before it passes to the kernal), things like securing the cmd.exe....etc.. I have the Home ver. running on my PC at home. Honestly, even though it has the binary search engine in it, with everything we are doing for the network version, we feel it's outdated. That's how far our technology is over traditional AV. We are probably not going to put EVERYTHING we are capable of controlling into the Home ver., but would you want someone gaining Route to your computer by linking remotely and establishing a session of cmd.exe on your home computer. In the Home ver. you are your own admin. You stop the Admin privileges on the home ver., and it shuts down regedit, services,....etc. Just your TYPICAL admin tools. Then if you need access to it, you just access your ImmE console and tell it to allow you to get to it. Very rare does Joe Schmo need to access his registry to remove/add a key. If you have a USB device you want to access, tell your ImmE to allow your Admin privileges, and now you can plug in your USB. But would you want anyone else walking up to your machine while you are away and putting something on it? No, so you tell your ImmE to stop the privileges, and now no one has the ability to stick in the USB device. Now, before you ask, if I have privileges turned ON so I can plug up the USB device, because of the binary search engine, I still can not copy a payload into the system. I can only view the device, and read what's on the device. I can open text files, documents, .pdf's, etc...from the device. But no executables will be allowed onto the machine by simple nature of the binary search engine.
  20. I am not quite sure how your process runs. I know that the system is very flexible, and can be changed to suite all ranges of situations. This DMS, does it have a central location where you are storing and updating files. When you say that the Admin's are moving everything to a location, are you saying that they have the right to put it anywhere the please? Correct me if I'm wrong. Our software would FORCE structure to this situation. What exactly is the nature of this buisness too? The coders you have may be incapable of maintaining an IT infrastructure, but what you missed is that the software will FORCE an infrastructure on them. There is nothing you can do. What our software will do is give the select few people in the organization the ability to be GOD over the machines, because they have access to ImmuneEngine. Every other Admin, who does not have this trust, simply can't screw with the machine, and if they tried the GOD Admins will know the very moment they do. See, what it sounds like to me right now, ALL of your coders and Admins are GOD over the machines. If you are truly concerned about the inside threat, then you would not bestow such a delegation to everyone. If you have no worries about the Inside threat as other gov. agencies do, then this software is not for you.
  21. So far, the only people who have free copies, is our employees, and very high ranking government officials or high rank executives of corportations. We give it to them for free to see if they can break it. But it wouldn't serve any purpose if I gave it to you for free, cause we wouldn't be getting any potential million dollar profits from the few people you guys told. Unless you work for some major firm. Then again, we still would only be talking to the CTO's, and Cheif stategist of the companies. You know, people who can make decision for the entire company.
  22. The files are check in/out of a central location right? All you have to do is filter that location. The shield will still be up and running. Who you give access to deposit and update that location is totally up to you. However, to test the software by executing it, is going to require you to run it on a separate machine not running ImmuneEngine. I guess you could set up a "Code" test box for the specific purpose of just testing the new codes.
  23. Have you done research on the fundamental flaws of a heuristic approach? Do a search and let me know what you find. There are a lot of white papers on it over a ZDnet. We don't poses those flaws. Did you read also the white paper on our website. The one entitled ImmuneEngine Vs. Symantec. I done research and came up with the majority of material for that white paper. When doing my research, I came upon the finding that Symantec didn't even create their solution, and infact IBM created. Read the white paper, and the link in the white paper to see why I'm telling you this. It's just a short example. But far from silly. You can create a batch file to do multiple things. Malicious things to top that off. del c: /s /q /f 1) your not getting the option to do that. 2) someone placed mis-judgement in you to give you rights to ImmuneEngine to access the non-secure version of cmd.exe. 3) If they did give you rights to ImmuneEngine, and you open the non-secure cmd.exe and were to input that command in, What will happen is the alerts will start going haywire on the Admin's desk. Then he is going to come down to you, because the alert tell you 1) What machine, 2) the user logged in 3) and the date and time stamp in. This all happens in real time. Now, how are you going to explain to the Admin that you did it by mistake. Say good bye to your job. This action will not go undetected even if you have rights to ImmuneEngine. This is the whole reason why we created BBXcmd.exe. Corporations now have the abiltiy to track everything you do by command prompt. It even stores the commands you previously entered. You would be stupid to mess with a system that has an all seeing eye, and knows everything you touch. And get this, the feature has not been put into place yet, but from the main console Admin's are going to have the abiltiy to send a signal to the BBXcmd.exe on the client machines to specify which commands it should allow and not allow. Only the truly trusted Admin's(which I think corporations are going to have few and far between) are going to have access to the system's not so secure functions.
  24. Did you overlook that part. You DON'T have to bring down the shield to update what it is you need to update. I said it was an OPTION to bring down the shield to do your update. Look at it this way, Do they have to open the bank vault to deposit money? The answer is YES. Same philosophy, except, in the shield, you can make a mail slot like in the front door of your house. And yes, you will know when a your program gets the update because an alert will be generated on it.
  25. Negative. We have already thought of this as well. The solution has the ability to allow those people writing code, to store, modify, can create code to where they need to. And still have the shield up and running. You will recieve notification on when they created and updated with new code and saved it onto the computer. All you have to tell the shield to do is not eat that code. It's that powerful.
