Cheers. Jeremy
  12. Thank you! Jeremy
  13. I have now configured my drivers section. Is there any way I can check the version of the Intel chipset driver and the Via chipset driver once the installation has finished? Cheers. Jeremy
  14. First of all, thank you to everyone who is assisting me. A few more questions........... The Intel chipset files (I extracted them with winrar) do NOT contain any .inf files. Does this mean I have to use the Installshield method? As regards the Via files, there are LOADS of .inf files. Do I need to point to each and every one of them? Cheers. Jeremy
  15. Thank you! The webpage I mentioned does not actually mention that you have to extract the file first. Hopefully this will be updated. Problem now solved! Cheers. Jeremy
  16. I followed the instructions on http://www.MSFN.org/unattended/xp/applicat...stallshield.htm The file I am trying to create a setup.iss for is infinst_enu.exe This is the Intel chipset utility. There do not seem to be any switches available for it. How can I install it silently? Cheers. Jeremy
  17. Problem solved! Once I extracted the files, they actually turned out to me .msp files. So I just slipstreamed them to my Office admin administration using the method described at: http://www.MSFN.org/unattended/xp/officexp...xp_advanced.htm Cheers. Jeremy
  18. I am a computer engineer and I upgrade computers based on Intel and VIA chipsets. I want an option to CHOOSE which drivers I install! If I try to install the VIA drivers on an Intel chipset I get an error and vice-versa. So this is why I would want to use a batch file so that I can choose which chipset drivers to install. I hope I am making myself clear. Cheers. Jeremy
  19. I wish to be able to choose to install various updates. For example. 1) Install Intel chipset drivers. 2) Install Intel application accelerator. 3) Install VIA chipset drivers. 4) Exit. Can anyone provide a simple batch listing for this. Cheers. Jeremy
  20. http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/xp/default.htm There have been a few new patches released. Can someone explain how to slipstream them so I can burn a new Office CD that automatically installes them? Cheers. Jeremy
  21. http://www.ntutility.com/arm/?from=prog_arm This also seems to compare the registry. Cheers. Jeremy
