I've used smoothwall, lrp, & other linux router/firewall distro's and to be honest the only advantage is you have greater control of internet traffic. When you really get down to it.. your power bill should be what decides wether you use a pc or a hardware firewall solution. The PC is gunna cost you more to run over a months time than the linksys router will & in my situation wasn't worth it.

echo.

I'm not sure about that, although you can trim office down to about 200-250mb just by compressing it with winrar.

you go on believing that...
I will... but thanks for your permission.

no, I was just giving my background. I am not a 12 year old who stumbled upon this method and decided "oh, I'm cool... I can do this." I have professional experience. I hate being told by someone that I am wrong when I know that I am not.
edg21: do YOU feel big now!?
I always feel big
But that has nothing to do with you. But ya know what... I know some 12yr olds that can probably do your job

"don't know" !?!?! WTF
Let me give you a little of my background. I have been doing unattended installations for a year and a half. I have read every single MSKB article regarding unattended installations. I dare you to check the unattended installation file included on the Windows XP CD. You will see the official variables. oemsigningpolicy is not one of them. I administer a RIS server and Windows 2000 and Windows XP images and have deployed them on over 500 PCs. Now... I am going to say it again...
There is no such variable as "OemSigningPolicy"
So... do you feel big now? lol

Boot to a floppy & del the file.

Has anyone tried these methods before?

You could use a vbs script to do all of it....

I would assume boot.ini is what you're looking for, I could be wrong though.

Installing windows hotfixes manually?
in Windows XP

Well... you could just write a batch file to do it and throw the update files in the same dir with the batchfile
