[How i change windows Xp boot name?]

Hi everybody,

I wanna to know how i can change the boot name of windows xp_sp2

before setup the windows (i.e. i wanna to c windows MSFN in the boot menu)

bye the way, i have windows xp media center as we know it is 2 CD :

the 1st CD is windows xp_sp2 if i install it alone the boot name is "Microsoft Windows xp Professional "

but when setup the 2nd CD the name become "Windows XP Media Center "

i wanna to know how !!!!!!!!!

I wanna to know how i can use WEXTRACT.EXE to make cabient self extractor.

I know that the r alot of programs that can do this job and it also GUI like GSFX and Inno and Pbuilder and more ...............

But i wanna tho know this program.

I put a simple cab self extract in the attachment which i get it from the net (Not Micorsoft website) it is job - This cab not WEXTRACT.EXE - is change some things in the reg. for windows xp.reg.exe

I also decompile this cab and it's contain u will find it also in attachment. reg.cab

I also search about it in Micorsoft Website but i didn't find how i can make cab sfx all i found it was about the IE!

Any answer will be great ..

Hi bober,

1st thank u for reading .

But using vertial CD prog's can only test the Autorun and programs on it . i already test this but wat i wanna to know is HOW I CAN RUN IT FROM MY HDD ?! (i.e. instead of Windows or like a windows which u can install on ur HDD ) i heard a bout it before as i remeber u get setupldr.bin then u name it ntldr and...........
