    How i can do this action ?

    Hi all

    i wanna to know how i can :

    1-Set my Volume slider on it is max.

    2-Open my Mic and set it to max.

    3-Apply a new Windows Themes.

    All of this i wanna to get them by registery (i.e. just apply .reg file to get all of them change)

    Any idea will be good.

    If your printer is connected to the parallel port:
    Echo text to print>LPT1

    Or:

    Type textdoc.txt>LPT1

    Is that all (i.e. don't need any .sys or any other thing all i need is Command.com)

    Also is that all for interfacing with my device as i wanna to send signals to it?!

    How To type in Japan?

    Usually that sort of thing is dependent on the keyboard. Do you have a JP keyboard or do you just want to type Japanese characters? :huh:

    I use a character map for that.

    I had try it and i can't c that Japanes caracters

    You need the Microsoft Japamese Imput Nethod Editor... I believe you can download it from M$ site
    i will try to download it

    BTW i try type in MS Word 2003 and i can't the letters apear in English not Japan.

    Hi all,

    i wanna to know which responsible for print documents by using printer in DOS.

    If u try to read File on Win 98 Startup disk u will find under file Menu Print command that allow u to use ur printer So, i bulid my own disk and don't wanna to use edit.com i wanna to send bit's (siganls) from dos to my parallel port as it use it in interface with another device

    So can i do it without any .sys or .exe to define Parallel port?!

    Any idea will be great.

    No i don't use nLite also i don't remove Windows Media Player components

    if am not wrong ..unless windows installs his sound drivers during setup.. then he would be able to play sound or adjust the volume..

    if drivers dont get installed.. i dont think that will work..

    I still build my own CD so i work in WPI and test wat i have done.

    So it must work ok as i define my sound card.

    I am sorry but I just don't quite get what you mean. Please explain further, do you mean the WPI audio or windows audio control itself?

    it is an executable file not batch.

    Why in Windows XP would you be wanting to use command.com?

    i wanna to use command.com which it created in startup disk not under windows enviroment.

    What is the file *.abc, unless its file type is known, it will not 'execute'. We use known file extensions for known file types so that the system knows what to do with it.
    the *.abc file in example for any extention which i wanna to execute under Dos

    Hi all

    i wanna command.com to execute .abc file in my startup disk.

    i.e. i have startup disk created by windows xp and i have file .abc i put this file on the disk and wanna to execute this file in dos

    I don't wanna to change it is extension to .exe or .com i wanna it as it is.

    Any ideas will be good

    1st thanks for ur reply. :D

    You'd proabably have to change the local pc policy or maybe even the registry. But the easiest way is to just make the bootable floppy using the standard way or from bootdisk.com, and just add the files afterward.

    I use Winimage to make my disks but wat i wanna to to is to change windows xp strategy in making startup disks so when i ask it to make startup disk it make my disk instead of Microsoft disk.

    Is there is any way to do this action?

    Any idea will be good.

    How i can change files which windows put in startup disk?

    -I have put my own startup disk (i.e. Add mouse,USB,Sound,....etc).

    Also,i have edit config.sys ....

    So, i wanna to make my version of windows xp creat startup disk using the one which i make (i.e. Adding my files to instruction of building startup disk)

    HOW i can do this action?
