Hey guys I think my Video card is starting to go, because my computer seems very slow like moving around the windows and starting up, its like when It starts up the screen swipes up and then swipes down. and then like when i minimize and maximize windows then do it there as well, and this has never happened before. My graphic card doesnt really support my Res. of my mointer it, cuz its too high because I have a big screen. So I had to *edited* the card so it would support my screen and when i did that its been working well but now its doing weird things. so if you have any advice, please tell me. thanks I am also looking for a new Video card as well, the budget is around $100, I would like it to be under $120. Hey guys, My friend had a question and wasent sure what to tell him, He wanted to know if you can call someone using dail up modem in your PC for free, like you can use your Mic instead of a real phone. hes just wandering if there are any free programs out there. In windows 98 had a program called "windows Dailer" which is what he is looking for that will work in windows XP. Any Ideas?

Nevermind, The problem was solved, I just had to start the championship mode

I have Hamachi installed now and I like it very much and it is working very well. I had no problems with it so far. prx984 thanks for finding this for me, I'm really pleased with it, its just a simple program and I can run it when I want to.. all what i want is just to be able to share files with my friends computer and share music.. thats really it.

Well Before I never had to enter a username or a password, My friend does the same thing and almost the exact setup and he never has to enter a user name or password

No I mean there is no server at all its just shared and there is only one user on it and that is "everyone"

I done that it just asks for a password and a username, But I dont want a user name and password on it, I did have it mapped, but it would always say "disconnected"

No It can't because its just a Simple network in my house. its just a Modem - Wireless Router - Dell - 5 port Switch - My computer - and Network Printer and then my dads laptop. thats all..

Ok, I know I specialize in computer networking, I even ask my instructor and he didn't even know.. But... I have one computer (dell) that has a second Hard Drive and I am using it for Network Storage (its Shared), and The permissions is selected to "Everyone" and that is the only user on the list and when I go on my computer and then I go to "My Network Places" and select the Shared folder, it asks me for a user name and password, But I don't want there to be a user name and password cause I don't want to enter a user name and password every time I restart my computer or other computers on my network. Can anyone Help? EDIT >>> This is Just a simple network in my home theres just 3 computers on it soon to be 4.. and there is no server.. Just my dell sharing that HDD.

I have a Linksys befw11s4 vr.4 and I want to block a Website (www.myspace.com) so that no one can access it at all unless they had a password for it and i know there are programs but I have 4 computers on the router and I want to know if theres a way to block that site with out installing something on each computer? any ideas?

Well i was not quite sure where to put this because this is a odd question... 1. I want to run a Virtual OS on another computer and remote connect to it from my computer, is that possible? 2. As for the DVD Burner, I would go with Lite-on I have one and i love it, I never have any problems with them, but thats just what i think.....
