Great, that works perfectly for the browser. Thanks Ironside I've used "mozilla.exe -silent -nosplash -setDefaultBrowser" and it silently makes Mozilla the default web browser. I can't seem to find a flag to set Mozilla Mail as the default. I've tried variations with the "-mail" in different places but haven't had any luck. Anyone?

I've got my Mozilla suite (1.7.13) install set up as silent, and it works great, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to set the default browser/mail client during Mozilla install, or through the runonce. I would rather people didn't even see IE or Outlook to avoid temptation.

I have all the drivers I need for my machine set up using the WINNT.sif method except the drivers for my scanner. I have an HP Scanjet 3970, and I was hoping to install just the drivers. I located the .inf, but it wants to install all sorts of crap (the HP software) and I get errors because things aren't where it seems to want them. Has anyone been able to isolate just the drivers without the bloat? I'd really like to get this last one on my install disk.

I've been searching for this for a bit as well, and haven't had any luck. It drives me crazy having to change it every time.

I have been trying this with the newest version (11.10a at the time) and I can't seem to get the registration to work. It's all good up until then, but there is no uedit32.reg file, and when I've tried importing the reg key listed it didn't work. Has anyone sucessfully registered the new version? If so please post the method.

Oops! my bad. I forgot to add the "%1" at the end of the target. It works now.

I've been looking for a way to do this for a while now. I tried changing the values of: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\batfile\shell\edit\command] and [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cmdfile\shell\edit\command] but it hasn't seemed to work. Any suggestions?

Open regedit and delete the registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\G\DefaultLabel] Then reboot (or just logoff and back on.)
