Hello, I've mounted a hard drive cooler which looks like this I've directed the flow of air from it to perhaps trying to reach the PCI slots which I have my video and network card there. I've checked my comp temp and with that 'flow' my mobo runs hotter. I don't know about the vid card temp. So should I stop that 'flow'? If so, then I'll just have to place the HD slave cables to block the air. But then where does the hot air goes? I'm confused please help me. TQ

lost, can the cpu fan speed be increased in MSI corecenter?

I got a MSI P4MAM2-V and Intel P4 2.0GHz.. lost, your fan is real fast.. even mine at 3000RPM is noisy... Guys, what's the 'optimum' temp for the CPU, mobo and HD to let it live as long as it could?

Hello, Here's the temp on the sensors on my mobo.. CPU: 39c Mobo: 43c HD: 35c CPU fan speed: 3184 RPM I've also installed a HD cooler that brought down the temp by about 12c.. I want to know the reviews from you guys, are these temps OK for the longevity of my computer hardwares? Should I bring any of them lower? Please reply. Thanks.

I got a MSI 645 Ultra-C.. Will that thermal paste amount on the cpu effect it so much?

xian, AS5 isn't that liquid to spread by itself by preasure.. I don't know how to check if it's getting enough voltage from the psu. any tips? All I know is that all was working OK with the current default voltage before this happened.

rava. I think I kindda did that 'sit' process b4. As in the cpu froze when it wasn't used. I guess it was left like that for long time till the next time I on it and saw it black. reset and nothing again. I put Arctic Silver 5. Amount like a grain of rice. Spread evenly. CPU isn't hot when I remove the heat sink. Need your help once again. TQ

Hello, When my screen turns black or freezes during normal usage, the cpu wont load again when I reboot the pc. I have to reseat it(lift the plastic lever and clip on again). I don't know if it's the cpu or the socket or the whole mobo is causing the prob. Problem happened after I put the new layer of thermal paste for the 1st time. Probably I put too much presure on the pins towards the table while putting the paste on. I used a soft guitar pick to spread the thermal paste. Now don't know what to do... Please help me. Probably it's gonna freeze again soon. *Luciky I have enough time to post this b4 freezing..

hi all, I got a Samsung Syncmaster 753DFx and a GF4 MX420. I recently overclocked my gfx from 250/332 to 320/460. Too high huh? But I read a review on guru3d site on that card, it could go that high. Well guess my card is different, I got artifacts with that speed. Anyway, I turn it back to original settings now. There's some mark left from it I guess. The left side of my monitor is blurr. Don't know why. Can anyone help me? Is it my monitor or gfx? It's not much difference but there is... any idea?

well okay u're just going to delete those /kernel=etc..exe and it should be okay so: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect I did as u said, still got the error I also wanna state that even when I got my Windows directory reformatted and reinstalled I still had the same prob even when I did not touch that kernel file What could the problem be?
