  1. I found the link by RogueSpear, http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST&f=70&t=52667 I did not do all that he sugested like hotfixes, but the method works.
  2. I did this last weekend and it worked,Windows XP with DP's M2 using Server 2003 with RIS. There is a link somewere in this new look forum? a guy did a post that works. I did a system clean with file protection off and it wiped out my C:\ lost all my links, still rebuilding the PC. The info is on this forum if you look. lazza
  3. This is happening to my as well, latest base cleans up some files but not all. cmdlines_fix.exe, Fedit.exe, Filecase.exe, OemPnPDriversPath.cmd, RUN_ME.cmd, I use method 2 This happen some time ago, but this time I was wondering if some program I have installed was interfering with CMD. The OS installes and works fine. Will wait and see if anyone has the same problem. laza
  4. I'm having the same trouble as you 123321. ;SetupMgrTag [Data] MsDosInitiated = "No" AutoPartition=0 UnattendedInstall="Yes" [unattended] OemPreinstall = "Yes" UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes Repartition=No FileSystem=NTFS UnattendSwitch=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS WaitForReboot=No KeyboardLayout="US" [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=No OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=260 OemSkipWelcome=1 DetachedProgram="%systemdrive%\install\slideshow.cmd" C:\Install\slideshow.cmd is there winntbbu.dll just cuts in as per normal install. I cannot think of any thing else to try. All the other commands in the answer file work fine. laza
  5. When I use WinXP SP2 Pro VLK or Corp and Ryan's Pack I have problems. When I use WinXP SP2 Pro and Ryan's Pack the install goes OK, I do a manual install of Ryan's Pack in Pro. I have been searching the forums for a fix but nothing has worked for Corp XP missing files and the install is not stable. Usually use method 1 or 2 with driver packs.
  6. Don't know if this will help you track down your driver problem. Method 2 latest packs, as you can see the drivers are loaded and work with no install problems. [ Devices ] Device Properties: Driver Description Intel® 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller Driver Date 23/01/2005 Driver Version 6.14.10.4020 Driver Provider Intel Corporation INF File oem1.inf Hardware ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2562&SUBSYS_52478086&REV_01 PCI Device Intel 82845G/GL/GV Graphics Controller Device Resources: IRQ 16 Memory 000A0000-000BFFFF Memory F0000000-F7FFFFFF Memory FFA80000-FFAFFFFF Port 03B0-03BB Port 03C0-03DF
  7. @zomig: This is strange, I use the Intel 82845G Motherboard/Chipset for testing these driver packs, only difference is I have 2GHz cpu. The screen resolution is crappy until the drivers are loaded at the end of the install, last reboot. The latest methods 1 & 2 work fine for me. 8. Siginet: not sure what you mean? I run Bâshrat the Sneaky Method 3 C:\UWXPCD3\$OEM$\cmdlines.txt and got this, ;Generated by Bashrat the Sneaky's DriverPacks [COMMANDS] "BTS_DPs_ROE.cmd" Run your cmdlines.exe, and [COMMANDS] "BTS_DPs_ROE.cmd" both were at the top of their file. Not that method 3 works for me anyaway. Maybe this is all getting a bit complicated, then the origional idea of 1 image for all hardware. Just my observations.
  9. Tried this but no work, winntbbu loaded instead. must have done something wrong.
  10. Hi, XPsp2 corp, I don't use nLite to slipstream sp2 do it manually. Use nLite to reduce XPsp2 corp down to 420MB no problems when install. When I use RVM hotfixes and nLite to slipstream them thats when I get the missing files thing in setup. I have no idea how to fix it.
  11. BST, It was RUN_ME method 2 not slipstream Fast Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Hit debug 4 time RUN_ME finished and cleaned up files. I will build an ISO and do install, see how it goes. laza
  12. BST, Just downloaded your latest FIX. At the end of slipstreaming Method 2, I get Windows error messages AppName: fedit.exe AppVer: 1.2.1.1 ModName: fedit.exe ModVer: 1.2.1.1 Offset: 0000148d Had to close 4 error boxes. Just before this stage. Bashrat the Sneaky's DriverPacks Slipstreamer - STEP 3 [DONE] A) cleanup [DONE] B) slipstreaming DriverPacks [bUSY] C) settings **** setting 1: choose method of finishing installation **** Do you want to use GUIRunOnce [G] or RunOnceEx [R] [EXPERIMENTAL] to finish the DriverPacks installation? Never had this happen before. Did not get them before latest FIX. I will download the Fix again and do another complete rebuild, and see if that works. laza
  13. XP sp2 Method 3, when slipstreamed I selected R and N No drivers installed C:\D still present no drivers, but 3 .cmd files left in \D Method 3, when slipstreamed I selected G and N No drivers installed C:\ empty means \D was deleted Think I'll go back to testing Method 1 & 2
  14. With the new fix, I found. DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy=Ignore Were deleted from winnt.sif, had to replace them. XP sp2 nLite base image I have used before Method 2, remove driver packs. Other then these minor problem all hardware drivers were loaded.
  15. I made a comment, about a problem few posts back. The problem was with the partition table on HDD not with the image. All drivers installed correctly method 1, it took a long time to find this. Any way everythink looks OK. laza.
  16. First time this has happened. Everything goes OK until the first reboot, then it auto starts text mode again instead of going into GUI. Tried this 4 times with compleat rebuilds of the CD. All packs Latest everything Keep drivers Y/N nLite settings proven Anyway it's Saturday morning where I am, back to work bashrat.
  17. Hi all, I am interest in this, to quickly dump an image from a single cd onto any pc for testing. Tried the hwids.cmd d/m script sent my pc into continus loop did a memory dump and restarted, did it twice. C:\sysprep\D\M Tried Universal Image Trial a few times, it works OK. I tested Universal Image with Installspy to get idea how they did it, they install all there drivers into Windiws\inf\bbt\ 740MB of them, also they delete some registry entries and add some, delete ide, cd rom and other controllers. I would post the log file from Installspy but it is 6MB. Any I will keeping looking and learning. This can be done. laza
  18. Bashrat and all that helped. I would just like to thank you for this great project. I use method 1, XP sp2 stripped down by nLite to 360MB add your driver packs and still fits on 1 CD. No RyanVMs updatepack. Had trouble installing on a server, found Adaptec AIC-7902W drivers were missing, unpacked the mmasstorage and added folders 9 & 10 put xp SCSI & RAID drivers in repacked rebuilt ISO. Worked like charm. Any thanks, don't have the brains to do it myself. laza
  19. I have been following this project for the last few months. the test PC is Intel 82845G M/B because when I load a copy of XP sp2 it won't load any drivers for the NIC, Graphics or Sound. After testing your latest packs last night all installed EXCEPT Realtek sound and had the portcls.sys error. So I build XP OS installed correct drivers, installed Driver Genius and backedup sound drivers and copied them into DP\S\R\HD alcxsens.sys Alcxwclm.cat alcwclm.sys alsnclmgr.cpl = 10,191kb alsndmgr.wav audio3d.dll crlds3d.dll oem1.inf soundman.exe I then opened oem1.inf and copied all into the bottom of DP\S\R\oem1.inf not sure if that was needed but it worked, there were no portcls.sys errors and all drivers loaded, sound works fine. Keep up the good work. PS built with slipstreamer 1 laza
