  1. Hi I am getting the following error when trying to run logmein as suggested above after making the changes using orca to original msi, this is being logged in the event log and logmein does not install. Product: LogMeIn -- Error 2356.Couldn't locate cabinet in stream: data.cab. any ideas ? thanks
  2. hi I have looked through this thread and used the search but i have not been able to find a solution to my problem. I have downloaded astalavista firefox installer, but everytime i run the command on a clean install of windows xp so that i can just test to see if will go in ok i get an icon in the bottom right of the screen which when you right click on it, it say "script paused" or exit, this is from a command prompt. i have run the command "setup.exe /silent" also tried other switches like -ms and just double clicking on the file itself. All comes back with the same thing. Tried this on 2 seperate installations of xp, once i get this bit working i can then add it into the unattended section of my runonce. The original firefox 1.04 from the authors site works with -ms switch no problem, just this one that i cannot get to work. obviously something i am doing wrong or perhaps the i need something else to get the astalavista installer to work ? Anyhelp appreciated zomig
  3. not working on my one, i have a different pc here as well which has the same graphics and that does not work either, again the sound goes in ok just not the video. I have now added the driver manually to the unattended cd but i just thought i would point it out. I know bashrat is busy so i am sure when he gets a few mins he will reply to see if there is a problem with the hardware id's. zomig

  5. Hi I had no problem with the sound it was only the vga driver, when i added another driver folder and copied the contents of the 845g driver from intel and loaded into the folder, then re-ran the install it worked fine. must be something wrong with the ones supplied by the v5.05 driverpack. zomig
  6. I have a P4 1.6Ghz, Intel 82845G Motherboard/Chipset. I have installed the latest driver pack v5.05 with the fix, the installation of xp goes in fine with no problems except that it will not install the vga driver which is an Intel 845G which i see is included in the driver pack. In fact if i download the same version from the intel site that is in the driver pack ie Driver Revision: then of course it works fine. Is there anything that i can look at to see why this is not working, manually installing the driver using the inf supplied within the driver pack is not possible as it says nothing found to match hardware etc. Checked the winnt.sif and all seems ok, i installed the driver pack using option 1, but also I have tried option 2 with the same results. Can i add the files that i have downloaded manually into the unattended install ? Any advice appreciated. Cheers zomig
